Your Medical Care

Who is your medical team?

For eligible nationwide services, Elite Healthcare Partners works with LionMD, a trusted team of nationwide medical professionals.

The LionMD medical team is led by:

Dr. Ana Lisa Carr, MD
NPI: 1689841744

Dr. Kelly Tenbrink, MD
NPI: 1346482684

Your individual provider may vary depending on your location, the service requested, provider licensure, and availability.

Will I speak with a licensed medical provider?

Yes. Prescription treatments require appropriate medical review and must be authorized by a licensed medical provider. Your provider will review the information you submit and determine whether a treatment is medically appropriate for you.

Does completing an intake form mean I am approved for treatment?

No. Completing an intake form begins the clinical review process but does not guarantee that a medication or treatment will be prescribed.

Your medical provider will review your health history, current medications, symptoms, goals, and other relevant information before determining whether you are an appropriate candidate.

Why do I need to provide detailed medical information?

Accurate information helps your medical team evaluate whether a treatment is safe and appropriate for you. Depending on the treatment, your provider may need information about your medical history, medications, allergies, previous diagnoses, symptoms, laboratory results, or other health factors.

Please answer all intake questions completely and accurately.

Will I need lab work?

It depends on the treatment being considered. Laboratory testing may be recommended or required to evaluate your health, establish baseline levels, determine treatment eligibility, or monitor your response to treatment.

Your provider will let you know if testing is necessary.

Are treatment plans personalized?

Yes. Treatment recommendations are based on your individual health history, symptoms, goals, laboratory findings when applicable, and your provider’s clinical judgment.

Treatment plans, medication selection, and dosing may differ from patient to patient.

Can I choose which pharmacy fills my prescription?

Pharmacy selection may depend on the medication prescribed, your state, medication availability, provider requirements, and applicable pharmacy regulations. If you have a question about the pharmacy assigned to your prescription, please contact our team.

How long will it take to receive my medication?

Processing and shipping times can vary depending on the medication, pharmacy, prescription approval, your location, and product availability.

Once your prescription has been submitted to the pharmacy, fulfillment and shipping are handled by the dispensing pharmacy.

Who should I contact about my medication shipment?

For questions specifically related to pharmacy processing, fulfillment, or shipping, you may be directed to the pharmacy filling your prescription. For questions about your treatment plan, dosing, side effects, or other medical concerns, contact your medical care team rather than the pharmacy.

What should I do if I have a question about my medication or dosage?

Do not make changes to your prescribed dose or treatment schedule without speaking with your medical provider. Contact your care team if you have questions about how to use your medication, missed doses, side effects, or changes to your treatment.

Treatments & Ongoing Care

What types of nationwide treatments are available?

Availability varies, but eligible patients may have access to services such as medical weight management, hormone therapy, testosterone therapy, peptide therapies, and other wellness treatments.

Not every treatment is available or appropriate for every patient or in every state.

Do you offer medical weight loss?

Yes. Elite Healthcare Partners offers medically supervised weight management programs, including treatment options such as semaglutide and tirzepatide when clinically appropriate.

A medical provider will determine whether prescription weight management treatment is appropriate based on your individual health history and clinical needs.

Do you offer hormone and testosterone therapy?

Yes. Elite Healthcare Partners offers individualized hormone and wellness programs, including women’s hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and men’s testosterone replacement therapy (TRT).

Your provider may recommend laboratory testing and ongoing monitoring as part of your treatment plan.

Do you offer peptide and longevity therapies?

Yes. Elite Healthcare Partners offers select peptide and wellness therapies for eligible patients. Available therapies and eligibility can vary, and all treatment recommendations are subject to medical review.

How often will my treatment be reviewed?

Follow-up requirements vary by treatment. Your provider may recommend follow-up consultations, updated intake information, laboratory testing, or other monitoring to evaluate your progress and determine whether your treatment should be continued or adjusted.

What if I experience side effects?

Contact your medical care team if you experience side effects or have concerns about your treatment. Your provider can help determine whether your treatment needs to be adjusted or discontinued.

If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency or a severe or life-threatening reaction, call 911 or seek emergency medical care immediately.

Insurance & Payment

Does Elite Healthcare Partners accept insurance?

Elite Healthcare Partners accepts many major insurance plans for eligible in-office medical services. Coverage varies by insurance carrier, plan, provider, and service.

Some wellness, aesthetic, membership-based, virtual, or prescription treatment programs may not be covered by insurance.

Will my prescription medication be covered by insurance?

Coverage depends on your insurance plan, the medication prescribed, the dispensing pharmacy, and your individual benefits. Some treatments may be offered on a self-pay basis.

You should contact your insurance provider directly if you have questions about your prescription benefits or coverage.

Are all Elite Healthcare Partners services covered by insurance?

No. Insurance coverage varies considerably by service. Certain wellness treatments, aesthetic services, advanced screenings, medications, and membership-based services may not be covered.

Our team can help explain available payment options, but patients should confirm specific coverage and benefits directly with their insurance carrier.

Appointments & Getting Started

How do I get started?

Depending on the service you’re interested in, you may begin by requesting an appointment or completing the appropriate online intake form.

For treatments requiring medical review, your provider will evaluate the information you submit and determine the appropriate next steps.

How long does the intake process take?

The amount of time can vary depending on the service, whether additional medical information or laboratory testing is needed, and provider availability. Providing complete and accurate information on your intake form can help prevent unnecessary delays.

What happens after I submit my intake form?

Your information is securely submitted for review. Depending on the service requested, your next steps may include provider review, a consultation, laboratory testing, additional questions, or development of a personalized treatment plan.

If medication is prescribed, an eligible prescription may then be sent to an appropriate pharmacy for fulfillment.

Can I receive care virtually?

Virtual care is available for select services and eligible patients. Availability depends on the type of care requested, your location, provider licensure, and applicable regulations.
